Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. It becomes a contract when we send you an order confirmation by email. If we cannot make or send what you ordered, we will tell you and refund you in full.

Everything is made to order and printed for you individually. Nothing sits on a shelf waiting, which is why the returns position on personalised items is what it is — see shipping and returns.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown on the product before you buy and are what you pay. Payment is taken by Stripe at checkout; we never see your card details. If a price is obviously wrong — a typing mistake rather than a sale — we may cancel the order and refund you rather than hold you to it.

Wonder NOTE: what you write, and what we do with it

What you write stays yours. You are giving us permission to store it, display it to the person you are giving it to, and print anything that needs printing onto the gift — and nothing more than that. We do not use it for anything else.

You are responsible for what you upload. By uploading a photograph or a recording you are confirming it is yours to share, and that sharing it does not break anyone else’s rights. Please do not upload anything illegal, anything that harasses someone, or anything you would not want a stranger to see if the link were lost.

We may remove content and cancel a Wonder NOTE if it breaks that rule, and we will refund you if we do.

The link on the gift

A Wonder NOTE arrives with a QR code that leads to a private page. That code is the only key to it. Anyone who has the code can read the notes — including anyone who photographs the gift, or anyone the recipient forwards the link to. Treat it the way you would treat a letter, not a password.

The setup link we email you after checkout works the same way, and it is how you write the notes. If you lose it, you can have it sent again to the email address you used.

How long the notes stay available

We intend to keep a Wonder NOTE available for as long as the person it was given to wants it, including after the last note has been delivered. We cannot promise that forever — no website can — but if we ever had to withdraw it we would give notice and a way to save what is there. The Daily Drop is a new message each day. It is not archived and there is no way to read yesterday’s.

If something goes wrong

If an item arrives damaged or faulty, or is not what you ordered, tell us and we will put it right — see shipping and returns. Nothing in these terms takes away rights the law gives you as a consumer.

Beyond that, our responsibility is limited to what you paid for the order. The paragraph setting out that limit precisely is one for review before this is published.

Which law applies

To be completed once the business is registered, together with which courts may hear a dispute.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
